Primary Purpose
Ensure the accuracy of payroll records and processing.
Qualifications
Education/Certification:
~ High School Diploma or GED

Special Knowledge Skills:
~10-Key and database systems preferred

Experience:
~ Two years of Texas School District Payroll Systems preferred

Major Responsibilities and Duties
Substitute/Part-time monthly payroll:
Preview and approve all supplemental pay and substitute pay
Process substitute/part-time new hires, exits, and changes
Run the payroll warrant through completion
Print and prepare checks for distribution
Provide support for all payroll inquiries
Full-time monthly payroll:
Preview and approve all supplemental pay
Key all deduction adjustments (refunds and double deductions)
Setup/Maintain all direct deposits records
Setup/Maintain employee/dependent insurance changes
Special Assignments :
Secretary training for time entry batches (requires travel)
Process assigned deduction billings.
