Head of Project Management (Remote)

We are seeking a mid-career Project Manager to lead and coordinate technology-driven projects across cross-functional teams. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical and business acumen, capable of managing complex initiatives and delivering results aligned with organizational goals.

Define project scope by translating business and technical requirements into actionable plans.

Develop project charters, schedules, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies.

Provide regular updates to Executive Leaders and project stakeholders through reports and meetings.

Identify and mitigate risks proactively to prevent delays or scope creep.

Resolve issues efficiently to maintain project momentum.

Ensure deliverables meet quality standards in collaboration with QA teams.

Align project goals with business strategy and technology roadmaps.

Manage project budgets and resource allocations.

Stay current with project management tools and methodologies.

Strong understanding of software development cycles, architecture, and enterprise platforms.

Strong understanding of Change Management processes.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field; project management and/or general business management, or equivalent related IT experience.

Seven or more years of project management experience preferred.

Experience in financial services preferred.

PMP and Agile/Scrum preferred.

Laurel, NJ office, three days a week, with two days remote.
