Description

Conduct evaluations of patients in inpatient or outpatient environments and create personalized treatment plans
Implement physical therapy interventions designed to enhance mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
Collaborate closely with nurses, doctors, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to maximize positive outcomes
Educate patients and families on rehabilitation objectives, discharge procedures, and at-home exercises
Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in line with facility and regulatory standards
Actively participate in care team rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care
Education
~ Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution

Certifications
State licensure as a Physical Therapist
CPR certification is preferred
Specialized certifications (such as in neurology or geriatrics) are advantageous, though not mandatory
Skills
Prior experience in the field is highly preferred
