Travel ICU RN - Night Shift RN

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Night Shift ICU position requiring ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications along with a Compact or OH RN license.

Job Details

• Acute care ICU setting with 6 private beds,
• High acuity step-down, low acuity ICU unit that currently serves as the hospital's COVID unit,
• Patient population includes sepsis, COPD, DKA, overdose, renal, surgical, and respiratory cases,
• Patient ratio of 1:2,
• Uses TruBridge - Evident EMR (CPSI-Evident),
• Night shift, 7pm-7am, working three 12-hour shifts per week (no blocked scheduling),
• 36 guaranteed hours per week,
• Every other weekend requirement,
• Floating to Tele-MedSurg unit required,
• Travelers typically do not work holidays, dependent on schedule and permanent staff availability,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (OH or Compact) currently in hand,
• Minimum 2 years of experience required,
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS,
• BSN not required for this position,
• Must complete an ECG exam on first day of assignment,

Additional Information

• 1 shift of floor orientation provided,
• Royal Blue scrub color required,
• N95 masks provided and used for 24 hours before disposal,
• Able to cancel up to 1 week's worth of guaranteed hours over the 13-week assignment
