Health & Safety Supervisor Full Time Canton, OH, US

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Safety & Health Supervisor to oversee all safety and occupational health programs. This role is responsible for leading site-level safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company standards, driving a strong safety culture, and partnering closely with operations leadership to prevent incidents and promote employee well-being.

Lead all safety and health programs for the facility

Ensure compliance with all applicable OSHA regulations, company policies, and industry standards

Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments

Maintain accurate safety records, reporting, and documentation

Lead or support incident investigations using root cause analysis methodologies

Develop and deliver safety training for employees, supervisors, and contractors

Partner with plant leadership to integrate safety into daily operations and decision-making

Drive behavior-based safety programs and employee engagement initiatives

Oversee emergency response planning and drills

Support regulatory inspections and external audits

Track safety metrics and report trends to leadership

3-7+ years of experience in occupational safety, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and safety compliance requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Engineering, or related field

Experience in food manufacturing, heavy industry, or union environments
