Cook - Casual Shift

X-Golf Commack is looking for a Cook

(Expected 25-40 hrs per week primarily evenings and weekends)

```Duties:```

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
• Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Wash plates / cups / dishes returned to kitchen
• Wash kitchen prep dishes
• Clean kitchen at end of shift

```Qualifications:```

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Basic knife skills for food preparation
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Suffolk County Food Manager or NYS Safe Serv Required

Shifts: Weekday Evenings; Saturday / Sunday Daytime / Evening

Hours will be 20-30 Hours in Summer Months; Full time November-April
