Perioperative Care RN (Registered Nurse)

Under limited supervision employs the AORN Standards of Perioperative Nursing Practice to

ensure the delivery of safe and effective nursing care for patients in the operating room.

Demonstrates leadership as the patient advocate, works collaboratively with all members of

the health care team, the patient/significant others to provide personalized care that

encompasses the psychological, physical, emotional, and age-specific needs of the

patient/significant others. The Operating Room Staff Nurse will adhere to the principles,

philosophy and mission of Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center in all aspects of job

performance.

Qualifications:

Current Arizona licensure as a Registered Nurse.

BLS certification and ACLS and PALS certificate or completed within 6 months of hire.

Two years OR experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.

Previous experience in critical care unit and/ or PACU preferred.

CNOR status preferred.
