Barista/ Bartender - Restaurant, Full Time, No

Barista Position

As a Barista, youll be responsible for the forefront of Resident interaction with the dining program for the community. From daily operation of the restaurant and bar to catering and special events. The barista will be responsible for taking orders, answering questions regarding menu and drink selections, work closely with wait, bar staff to ensure that everything operated efficiently.

Your Responsibilities:

Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies.

Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties, and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items, etc.

Serve orders by picking up and delivering patrons' choices from bar and kitchen; deliver accompaniments and condiments from service bars.

Respond to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs, observing dining process.

Maintain table setting, replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs.

Other duties as required.

Skills & Qualifications:

GED or High School Diploma

At least 1 year kitchen experience

Excellent verbal communication skills required.

Knowledgeable of proper food handling procedures

Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 30 50 lbs.

Work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time.

Reach with hands and arms.

Communicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word.
