Temp/Travel- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Home Health

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) travel assignment on a 41-bed short-term rehab unit in Newark, NY. Weekly pay range: $Shift: 5x8 evenings. Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility.
Weekly pay: $1,361–$1,448 per week

• Contract duration: Shift: 5x8 evenings
• Setting: 41-bed short-term rehab unit within a Skilled Nursing Facility

Provide clinical care focused on wound care, wound VAC management, IV therapy/PICC line care, and nephrostomy care.

• Support post-operative orthopedic and post-cardiac patients, including basic med administration and monitoring.
• Perform dressing changes, Foley care, NG/G-tube care, and routine patient assessments.
• Conduct phlebotomy tasks as needed and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team (PT, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy) to support patient progress.
• document changes and respond to patient needs in a timely manner.
• Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation; participate in handoffs and care planning with the unit.

Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New York (or eligible to practice per state requirements)

• Graduation from an approved practical nursing program
• Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience
• EPIC charting experience required
• Ability to work in a 41-bed short-term rehab unit with potential float per facility need
