Job Overview

Remote Control Solutions, a specialist in innovative access control products for over 20 years, is seeking a meticulous and experienced bookkeeper to join our dedicated team. As a key member of our financial department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. The ideal candidate will be a detail‑orientated professional responsible for managing our day‑to‑day accounting and finance requirements. Responsibilities

Record day‑to‑day financial transactions and complete the posting process to ensure all business transactions are recorded.

Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and collections.

Conduct monthly reconciliation of all bank accounts and credit cards.

Prepare and process payroll in a timely and accurate manner.

Generate financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, by collecting, analysing, and summarising account information.

Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.

Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.

Assist with the preparation of tax returns and year‑end financial procedures.

Qualifications

Proven experience working as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.

Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office, particularly Excel.

A high degree of accuracy and exceptional attention to detail.

Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.

Excellent numerical and data entry skills.

The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

A relevant qualification in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping is highly advantageous.
