Part-time Recruiter: (flexible hours)

This role serves as a primary point of contact for new students and families, welcoming and guiding them through the transition and orientation to a fully virtual learning experience. The specialist will ensure a smooth and supported transition into our virtual school environment. The aim of the Student Onboarding Specialist is to align their deliverables with the strategic initiatives of Blue-X Virtual, while promoting the organization’s overall vision, objectives, goals, and culture.
Must have a High School Diploma/GED
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University (preferred)
Serve as the initial contact for newly enrolled students and their families during the onboarding process.
Offer flexible scheduling during after-hours and weekends, to accommodate the needs of working teens, young parents, and diverse family schedules.
During peak times, acting as the overflow specialist during the weekday as needed.
Coordinate and facilitate virtual orientation sessions and one-on-one onboarding meetings.
Ensure that families become familiar with school platforms, expectations, academic calendars, and support resources.
Partner with Enrollment, Counseling, IT, Academics, and other teams to ensure smooth transitions and troubleshoot technical or academic issues.
Help students feel welcomed and connected to the virtual community from day one.

1+ Years experience using Google Workspace preferred.
