Role Description This is a full-time Project Manager role based in San Francisco that will plan, coordinate, and oversee projects that support district priorities, ensuring scope, timelines, and budgets are clearly defined and met. Responsibilities include developing project plans, setting milestones, managing risk, and coordinating cross-functional teams such as school sites, central office departments, and external partners. The role involves monitoring project progress, maintaining documentation, preparing status reports, and ensuring compliance with district policies and relevant regulations. The Project Manager will also facilitate stakeholder meetings, gather and incorporate feedback, and support continuous improvement of project processes and outcomes.

Qualifications Strong project leadership capabilities, including Project Management skills for defining scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

Experience monitoring critical tasks, resolving delays, and keeping projects on schedule.

Inspection skills to review project work, verify compliance with standards, and ensure quality and safety requirements are met.

Logistics Management experience to coordinate resources, schedules, and materials across multiple schools and departments.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, communicate clearly in writing and verbally, and facilitate effective meetings.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.

Proficiency with common project management tools and office software (e.g., project tracking systems, spreadsheets, and presentation tools).

Bachelor’s degree in project management, business, education, public administration, or a related field; PMP, CAPM) are a plus.

The best candidates will have experience with and knowledge of AutoCAD.
