Bookeeper (Accounting/Finance)

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our bookkeeping processes. Responsibilities

Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.

Prepare and process payroll, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.

Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.

Manage invoices, payments, and collections in a timely manner.

Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.

Stay updated on industry best practices and accounting regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

Strong organizational and time‑management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
