HR Generalist Recruitment & Administration

We’re looking for a dynamic Human Resource Coordinator to support and enhance our HR functions as we grow. In this vital role, you’ll be the backbone of our HR department, ensuring smooth operations in, on boarding, employee engagement, and compliance.

The Human Resource Coordinator is responsible for performing Human Resources related duties on a professional level and works closely with the Human Resources team, plant supervisors and managers.

Maintain the confidentiality of personal employee information, company information, records, and related issues in accordance with all the applicable laws.

Administration of all employee transfers, leave of absence, change of status and change of employee information.

Collection of new hire information for payroll, entering information into the HRIS system and the Timekeeping system.

Filing of documents pertaining to employee personnel files, medical files, and work compensation files.

Responsible for all job bid postings, shift preferences, changes in shift start times.

Answering all incoming calls for the Human Resources Department and directing employees, vendors, and public to the appropriate person or answering questions if possible.

Conduct benefit meetings with new hires.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and legal requirements.

Back up for hourly recruiting

Manage the JFS site for Shared work and UE Claims

Two - Five years’ experience in Human Resources

Ability to read, write and speak English effectively

Proficiency with database applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft Office.

Advanced Excel skills is required

Ability to work effectively alone and prioritize.

Demonstrated good internal customer service skills

Ability to manage multiple projects.
