RN - Hospice (Evenings) (RN #)

Role: Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for providing compassionate, high-quality care to terminally ill patients and supporting their families.

Key Responsibilities Apply nursing theories and concepts to patient care.

Document care in accordance with reimbursement guidelines.

Coordinate physical care with patients, families, physicians, and the hospice team.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and agency personnel.

Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and quality reviews.

Qualifications & Skills Current RN licensure and graduation from an approved nursing program.

At least two years of clinical nursing experience, with one year preferred in hospice care.

Knowledge of home health and hospice operations and the nurse’s role within the care team.

Understanding of nursing practices, agency policies, and reimbursement guidelines.

12 hours of continuing education annually and CPR certification.

Willingness to travel, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
