Overtime Receptionist

Shift

Serves as liaison between the patient and medical support staff. Provides a variety of clerical and filing duties. Assists patients with questions regarding insurance claims and billing issues. Under the general supervision of Clinic Manager. The employee is subject to call back and overtime as required by the hospital.

Updates necessary information in the medical record. Identifies billing issues and works to correct any issues that inhibit collections. Answers telephone, screens calls, takes messages, provides information to facilitate patient flow. Must be able to handle cash, balance and reconcile daily cash and charges. Assist in maintenance of equipment use and care. Uses cost-effective measures in day-to-day operations. Adheres to WTH Compliance Policy at all times.
