The Human Resources Generalist will assist the management team in handling the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including but not limited to recruitment efforts, benefits management, overall staff organization, payroll processing, leave management, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, policies, and work assessments; manages all time and attendance matters, including weekly timecards, PTO requests, and remote timesheets.

Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Responsible for assisting with payroll processing.
Maintains thorough knowledge of HRIS software (ADP) along with any software updates and changes.
Assist with voluntary and involuntary annual programs recommended by the firm, such as but not limited to: United Way campaign, Employee Performance Evaluations, Open Enrollment Benefits, and the Summer Internship Program.
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems (ADP Workforce Now).
