Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Legal Assistant to join our team in our Lakeland, FL office. The Legal Assistant will handle a variety of tasks, including preparing and managing legal documents, supporting attorneys with case-related work, and providing efficient administrative assistance. The role involves organizing case files, maintaining schedules, communicating with clients and legal professionals, and ensuring compliance with legal procedures. This is an on-site position requiring a detail-oriented and proactive individual passionate about law and client service.

Qualifications

Knowledge of legal principles, practices, and terminology, as well as experience in legal document preparation.

Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and legal professionals.

Proficiency in administrative assistance tasks, including managing schedules, maintaining records, and ensuring organization in a fast-paced legal setting.

Experience working as a Legal Assistant or in a similar legal support role is preferred.

Proficiency in legal research tools and document management software is a plus.

Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Bachelor's degree, associate degree in Paralegal Studies, or certification as a Legal Assistant is preferred.

Bilingual is required (Spanish & English)
