Purchasing Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Purchasing Coordinator to support our procurement and supply chain operations. The Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for managing purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, tracking inventory levels, maintaining procurement records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. Create, process, and monitor purchase orders to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment.

Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, delivery schedules, and order status.

Maintain vendor relationships and support supplier performance management.

Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and requirements.

Track inventory levels and assist in replenishment planning.

Maintain accurate purchasing records, contracts, and supplier information.

Generate purchasing reports and analyze procurement data as needed.

Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

2+ years of purchasing, procurement, inventory, supply chain, or administrative experience.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Must be comfortable going on a plant floor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oak Creek, WI.
