Weekend Nightshift machinist

CNC Milling Machinist
We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist to join our dynamic team. This is a direct placement opportunity on night shift or weekend days. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up milling machines, checking parts for quality, coaching other machinists, and performing programming at the machine.
Responsibilities:

Set up and operate milling machines, ensuring low scrap rates.
Check parts and provide quality assurance.
Coach and mentor other machinists.
Perform programming, tool changes, program edits, and offsets directly at the machine.
Understand and work with various CNC control systems.
Essential Skills:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in setting up milling machines.
Proficient in machining, mill setup, and CNC operations.
Experience with tool changes, program edits, and offsets.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and perform basic calculations using simple math.
Proficient knowledge of CMM, VCMM, and GD&T.

Work Environment:
Work in one of the nicest and largest machine shops in Minnesota. The facility is very clean, new, and promotes a positive work environment. Employees are provided with safety glasses and boots annually, and benefit from a health savings account (HSA) and double pay after 50 hours.

This is a Permanent position based out of Monticello, MN.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $113100.00/yr. Generous PTO: Start with 3 weeks of paid time off per year, with accrual from day one.
