Head of Arts & Culture

Our client is seeking an Art Director to join a fast-growing beauty and haircare brand known for bold creative, trend driven storytelling, and strong retail presence across major national retailers. This role is ideal for a highly conceptual creative leader with strong beauty or CPG experience who thrives in a fast paced, social first environment. The Art Director will oversee visual execution across digital, packaging, campaigns, product launches, and retailer marketing while helping evolve the overall brand aesthetic.
This role blends hands on design leadership with mentorship, creative direction, and campaign ownership from concept through execution. The ideal candidate understands Gen Z beauty culture, social content trends, packaging aesthetics, and how to balance elevated taste level with speed and execution.
You Will: Lead and art direct campaigns across digital, social, packaging, retail, and brand marketing channels
Partner closely with Creative leadership to execute and evolve the brand vision
Mentor and guide a junior creative team while elevating overall creative quality
Concept and oversee photo and video shoots for product launches and campaigns
Develop moodboards, design systems, templates, and visual storytelling assets
Collaborate cross functionally with marketing, copy, operations, and external partners
Ensure all creative work is on brand, trend aware, visually polished, and production ready
Support packaging reviews, line extensions, and retailer creative initiatives
Translate social first thinking into platform specific creative for TikTok, Instagram, Reels, and emerging channels
Travel periodically for campaign shoots and creative production, including shoots in Los Angeles
You Have: 7+ years of experience in Art Direction, Graphic Design, or Brand Creative roles
Beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or CPG brand experience strongly preferred
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Strong understanding of social content trends and Gen Z focused branding
Experience overseeing both digital and packaging creative initiatives
Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining strong attention to detail
Packaging production, line review, print, or color matching experience is a major plus
Experience with 2D or 3D rendering is a plus
Hybrid onsite role in Tampa, FL, working onsite roughly 3 days/week
