Substation Project Manager
The Substation Project Manager will be responsible for the deliverables associated with substation design projects supporting one of our largest electric utility clients. Includes yard layouts, plans, sections and details, grounding, lightning protection, control building arrangements, interior and exterior raceways, auxiliary AC/DC power systems, and associated bills of material. The successful candidate will have approximately 70% technical/project management work and 30% management responsibilities.
Initiate projects and develop scope, schedule, and budget.
Provide QA/QC oversight for deliverables.
Develop specifications, documents, and requirements.
Maintain project tracking systems and support client coordination.
Monitor project budget, schedule, and resource allocation.
Control project costs and support financial performance.
Maximize project profitability and cost control.
Communicate effectively with project teams and clients.
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Business Administration degree.

• 5+ years of experience creating and updating project scope, schedule and budget.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• PMP Certification preferred but not required.

Experience with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
