Position: Full-Time

The Licensed Optician delivers the brand value proposition and helps establish For Eyes as the premier destination for all vision needs. He/she creates exceptional value in customers' lives by delivering legendary customer service and high-quality eyewear that exceeds expectations.

Greets all customers with a warm welcome right away, exchanges names, and ensures they know what to expect. Shows urgency in providing service to customers and satisfying their needs.

Takes and records measurements, adjusts or fits eyewear correctly, and ensures finished eyewear meets standards and customer requirements.

Attracts new customers.

Explores the needs and priorities of customers by asking open-ended questions.

Is attentive to details, asks follow-up questions for clarity, reads verbal/non-verbal cues, reviews prescriptions, and identifies special needs.

Utilizes store tools and adheres to Brand Store Commitments.

Performs work accurately and thoroughly utilizing all technology despite time pressure and customer volume. Reinforces customers’ final selection.

Anticipates problems, explores underlying reasons for customer issues, strives to develop long-term solutions, and ensures customers are satisfied and expectations are exceeded. Strives to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies.

Takes pride in store appearance, shows initiative to keep store clean, attractive, and organized, and secures and protects company assets in your control.

Adheres to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to discounting, promotions, and inventory management.

Additional duties may be assigned as needed (e.g., customer calls, dispensing eyewear).

High School graduate or equivalent.

Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder.

Knowledge of current store merchandise.

Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators.

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
