Part-time Laboratory Instructors

The Department of Paramedicine at Creighton University invites applications for a Special Instructor/Lab position in the Department of Paramedicine. Special Instructors are part‑time faculty who teach lab and simulation, perform EM‑S student instruction, and may take on additional duties as needed.

Responsibilities
Lead classroom and laboratory sessions for EMS students according to program policies and procedures. Assist with curriculum development, student assessment, and faculty development activities. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of emerging EMS science and simulation technology.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience in an emergency or critical‑care environment, preferably field experience in out‑of‑hospital emergency care.

Eligibility for licensure as a paramedic and EMS Instructor designation in the State of Nebraska.

Current provider and instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, PEPP, AMLS, ITLS, and PHTLS preferred.

Participation in supportive faculty development programs.
