Join us as a Human Resources Generalist, where you’ll be a key partner in empowering our team, optimizing processes, and ensuring our workforce is equipped to deliver impactful results in the community. Your Impact: Oversee onboarding for new hires to ensure a positive and thorough transition into the organization.
Provide prompt support by responding to internal and external HR inquiries, redistributing calls, and directing correspondence to the relevant team members as needed.
Serve as a point of contact for retail employees regarding HR-related questions and concerns.
Support managers with performance reviews, providing tools and guidance for constructive feedback.
Assist with the development and implementation of performance improvement plans as needed, while proactively working to prevent the need for disciplinary actions through training, clear communication of expectations, and fostering a supportive work environment.
Oversee all Retail employee relations issues in a fair, thorough, and timely manner in accordance with HR best practices, organizational policies, and employment laws and regulations.
Support strategic initiatives that advance the Retail department’s mission and goals in partnership with the HR Manager and retail leadership.
Coordinate and oversee Retail work-related injury claims, supporting employees through the return-to-work process in collaboration with the HR Manager, Safety Manager, and the employee’s direct supervisor to ensure safe and timely reintegration into the workplace.
Accurately maintain employee records, process HR-related data in HRIS (Paycom).
Visit Retail Stores, Construction and Repair sites as needed.
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
Minimum three (3) years increasingly responsible human resources generalist experience.
Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and employment regulations.
Proficient and experienced with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
