Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a LA or compact license and Epic experience for a night shift position requiring 2+ years of critical care experience.
Details
Float pool position requiring coverage of ICU, CVICU, NICU, SICU, MICU, TICU, and Burn units as needed
Patient ratio of 1:2
Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30)
Every other weekend required
Holiday coverage required
No on-call requirements
Requirements
Active LA or Compact RN license required at time of consideration (pending licenses not accepted)
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
Epic charting experience required
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Preferred certifications: CCRN, CPI
Preferred skills include prior charge nurse experience
Critical care course experience preferred
Two recent manager references required
Additional Information
Provide critical care nursing across multiple ICU specialties including cardiovascular, neuro, surgical, trauma, and burn patients
Navy blue scrubs required
Strict 5-day maximum RTO policy
First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
Local candidates within 75 miles are accepted at the local rate
Candidates must reside within a 75-mile radius or be eligible for local rate consideration
Former permanent employees of the health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for travel assignment
Any license disciplinary history must be disclosed along with a personal statement at time of consideration
