Registered Nurse (RN ) - OB/GYN Clinic - Full Time

The Ambulatory and Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN), a member of Advocate Health Nursing Professional Governance community, provides high- quality, patient-centered care through evidence-based practice, clinical expertise, and compassionate care delivery in an ambulatory care setting. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, advocates for patient needs, and upholds professional practice standards to promote optimal health outcomes.

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Minimum of 1 year of RN experience is preferred.
Must have previous OB or Women's Health experience

Clinic Hours:

Mon: 8:30a - 4:30p, Tue: 1:00p - 7:00p, Wed: 8:30a - 4:30p, Thurs: 8:30a - 4:30p, Fri: 8:30a - 3:00p, no weekends or holidays

Full-time position, RN will work 9a - 5:30p every other Monday

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Our main location is in the Medical Office Center at 17850 S Kedzie Ave., Our practice includes seven providers, four OB/GYN physicians, one gynecologist, two Advanced Practice Nurses and a dedicated social worker. We provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to women of all ages. In office procedures include colposcopy, endometrial biopsy, LEEP and hysteroscopy.

Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday.
Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.
May be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste as well as blood and body fluids and communicable disease. Therefore, protective clothing and equipment must be worn as necessary.
Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.
Physical Abilities Testing may be required.
Additional department specific physical requirements may be identified for unique responsibilities within the department by the nurse leader.
