Litigation & Compliance Attorney

Litigation AttorneyOur client is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its growing legal team in Omaha, Nebraska. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney with 5-10 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in Insurance defense realm, who is looking to handle complex cases in a collaborative and professional environment.ResponsibilitiesManage all phases of civil litigation from case inception through resolution.Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, legal memoranda, and other litigation documents.Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, expert witnesses, and the court.Negotiate settlements and provide strategic legal advice throughout the litigation process.Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with all applicable court rules and deadlines.QualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law in Nebraska and/or Iowa.Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience; Insurance defense experience is strongly preferred.Strong oral advocacy, legal writing, and negotiation skills.Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.Commitment to providing exceptional client service and maintaining high ethical standards.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience.Comprehensive health insurance.Health Savings Account (HSA).Life insurance.401(k) retirement plan.Paid time off (PTO).Work EnvironmentEmployment Type: Full-timeLocation: Omaha, NebraskaWork Arrangement: OnsiteCandidates should be able to commute to or relocate to the Omaha area prior to their start date.
