Real Estate Paralegal Legal Department | Hybrid – Palo Alto, CA | Full-Time
About the Role
A well-established real estate organization is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to join its corporate legal team. This role will support attorneys within the in-house legal department and assist with corporate governance, entity management, real estate transactions, and compliance matters.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects while working both independently and collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
This is a full-time position based in Palo Alto, CA , with a hybrid schedule offering some flexibility for remote work.
Key Responsibilities
Draft and review corporate governance documents, including board resolutions and compliance filings
Manage entity formations, dissolutions, and registrations across multiple jurisdictions
Maintain corporate records, minute books, and organizational documentation
Assist with due diligence for acquisitions, financings, and joint ventures
Prepare and review real estate transaction documents and closing materials
Coordinate with outside counsel, title companies, and internal stakeholders on corporate and real estate matters
Maintain and update legal information systems and entity management platforms
Support corporate compliance initiatives and ensure timely filing of documentation
Assist with additional projects to support legal and operational teams as needed
Qualifications
Strong understanding of corporate governance, compliance, and legal documentation
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with executives, attorneys, vendors, and internal teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field required
Paralegal certification preferred
Notary Public certification required
Experience with corporate legal operations, real estate transactions, or similar legal environments preferred
$28 - $36 per hour
