Your primary focus will be on capital equipment design and support, as well as standardization and documentation.You will report to the Engineering Manager under our DF&H Division.Manage BOM & drawing changes through a standard revision/Engineering Change Order (ECO) process in a PDM controlled systemDesign and develop parts and assemblies using SolidWorks. Create models, assembly drawings, & manufacturing/fabrication drawings.Prepare any additional mechanical support needed for projects such as welding/machining fixtures, layout drawings, field installation procedures, and any other pertinent documentation.Convert legacy drawings from AutoCAD or.tif to SolidWorks.Check and review drawings and documents for accuracy and errors. Capture meeting minutes and other notes from customer interaction to document needs of customer and changes during project.Work with little direction and supports the project team in the successful completion of multiple projects.Actively participate in RCI to drive improvements for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost, in support of company goals/objectives and to exceed customers' expectations.Properly track costs, including personal time and spend, to keep budgets and notify proper resources of expanded costs.Document sources and history of design development throughout the project.Assist in FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) preparation and execution.Assist in VAVE (Value Assessment, Value Engineering) events and support as needed.Assist in the shop and installation support work as needed.
