Pharmacist Ambulatory Retail

The Retail Pharmacist reviews prescriptions, obtains clarifications and analyzes drug therapy. Responsible for compounding and dispensing medications according to established policies and procedures of the professional of pharmacy. Supervises pharmacy technicians in the preparation of medication.

Current Illinois State Pharmacist License

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's Science Pharmacy or PharmD

Experience: 3 years of experience in Retail Pharmacy

Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and various other medical personnel when explaining medication use and gathering and exchanging other medication information. Strong customer service skills.
