Manager of Investor Development

Economic Development team is seeking a dynamic, relationship driven professional to serve as Manager of Workforce and Entrepreneurship. Reporting to the Chief Economic Development Officer, this individual will serve as a key connector and relationship builder across Williamson County's entrepreneurial ecosystem and educational institutions. The successful candidate will be charged with building and sustaining meaningful partnerships across K-12 schools, post-secondary institutions and regional entrepreneurship organizations. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and a demonstrated ability to manage high-visibility programs and events.

Revamp and manage the Entrepreneurship Advisory Board, ensuring it remains a dynamic and impactful resource for the regional entrepreneurial community and a valuable engagement opportunity for Partnership members.

Organize and execute high-impact capital events such as Founders and Funders in partnership with Launch TN and the Nashville EIC.

Assist in capturing and elevating success stories related to entrepreneurship, workforce development, investor engagement, and economic development initiatives. K-12 & Educational Partnerships

Organize and oversee annual STEM and STEAM days in partnership with Williamson County Schools, creating meaningful experiential learning opportunities for students.

Post-Secondary Institutional Partnerships

Program & Event Leadership: Proven track record of planning and executing high-visibility programs, events, and initiatives that drive engagement and deliver measurable outcomes.

Organizational Excellence: Strong project management skills and demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor's degree in communications, nonprofit management, business, education, public relations, or a related field.

Proven ability to plan and execute high-impact events and programs, including managing budgets, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

Strong relationship management skills with a track record of building trust with institutional, community, and executive-level partners.
