Segal Trials is seeking a Director of Clinical Operations to lead and optimize the day-to-day performance of our growing clinical research network.

This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence across multiple sites—ensuring high-quality study execution, strong enrollment performance, and consistent workflows across our organization.

About the Role The Director of Clinical Operations oversees:

Clinical site operations across all locations

Study execution and enrollment performance

You’ll partner closely with site leadership, the Medical Director, and executive team to ensure studies are conducted efficiently, compliantly, and aligned with organizational goals.

What You’ll Do Clinical Site Operations Lead day-to-day performance across all clinical research sites

Identify gaps and implement process improvements

Ensure compliance with ICH‑GCP, FDA regulations, and SOPs

Support study start‑up and site readiness

Mitigate operational risks

Maintain a culture of regulatory excellence

Collaborate with regulatory and quality teams

Build scalable processes across the network

Implement dashboards and performance tracking tools

Strengthen systems for multi‑site growth

Manage and support site managers and research teams

Set KPIs and performance expectations

Drive training, development, and best practices

Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture

Support new site launches and expansion initiatives

Help scale infrastructure for future growth

What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare administration, or related field

8+ years in clinical research (site operations preferred)

3-5 years in leadership/management roles

Strong knowledge of ICH‑GCP, FDA regulations, and site operations

Experience in multi‑site environments preferred

Proven ability to drive operational performance and process improvement

Experience with site networks or SMOs

Travel Occasional national travel for meetings, conferences, and expansion
