Welder / Welding / Fabrication Welder

Competitive Pay: This position offers an hourly wage of $31.00/hr. , At OTC, being a Welder means more than providing support—it's about growing, earning, and building your future. Layout and fit up components per drawings and specifications with minimal supervision
Pipe fit-up and fabrication of simple and complex systems
Set up and operate electric and engine-driven welding equipment

oxygen acetylene cutting equipment
operate hand-held plasma-cutting equipment
Operate rigging equipment and perform simple to complex rigging operations small and large
Be able to identify different filler materials and uses
3-5yrs experience required of fabrication skills with structural and pipe shapes

• Stick, MIG and TIG welding experience
• Experience with overhead cranes operation a plus
• Experience with the use of mobile cranes and crane signaling a plus
• Work involves almost constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, bio-hazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or constant loud noise
• Considerable physical activity. Work environment can involve exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following extensive safety precautions and may include the use of protective equipment
