Real Estate Paralegal (full time)

A well-established and growing real estate law firm in Greenville, SC is seeking an experienced Residential Closing Paralegal to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned real estate paralegal to play a key role in supporting the continued success and expansion of a respected firm.

Responsibilities

Manage daily workflow by reviewing task reports and prioritizing closing activities
Coordinate residential real estate closings with buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, and title professionals
Prepare complete and accurate closing packages with minimal supervision
Serve as the primary point of contact for all parties throughout the closing process
Communicate effectively with clients and closing agents; respond promptly to questions and issues
Collaborate with internal team members to identify and resolve issues efficiently and accurately
Review title commitments to confirm title is clear of liens, judgments, and encroachments
Obtain, review, and verify all required payoffs and invoices
Prepare, review, and finalize Closing Disclosures and related closing documents
Ensure all required loan documents are collected and ready for funding
Coordinate fund disbursement at closing, including wire setup, and prepare files for post-closing
Verify recording documents are complete and accurate prior to e-filing and submission for recording

Qualifications:
College degree preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a residential real estate closing paralegal
Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Qualia and/or SoftPro required
