Under supervision of RN preceptor completes patient care assignments within a reasonable length of time, meeting the obvious needs of the patient.

Contributes to the development of patient problem list using the nursing process:

A. achieve established nursing care goals and/or

Responds to real or simulated emergency and disaster situations according to established procedure.

Maintains a safe patient care environment.

Successful completion of an accredited school of nursing program by start or transfer date.

If RN Licensure is not obtained, GN would require employee to apply for and be accepted into another position within thirty (30) days or employment is terminated.

BLS and/or Canadian equivalent by American Health Association or Red Cross Certification.
