The Archdiocese of St. Louis strives to teach and share our faith, serve others, and foster unity throughout the St. Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis Catholic Academy provides instructional, clerical, and supervisory support to teachers in fostering a positive, faith-filled learning environment. This role assists with classroom management, student engagement, and daily educational activities while supporting the school's mission of academic excellence and Catholic formation.
Assist teachers with the implementation of daily classroom lessons and activities.
Help prepare instructional materials, classroom displays, and educational resources.
Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, lunch, recess, field trips, and other assigned times.
Support students with academic tasks, assignments, and organizational skills.
Assist with grading, recordkeeping, filing, copying, and other clerical duties as directed.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
Support students with special needs or accommodations as directed by the teacher and administration.
Model Christian values and promote the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and required Safe Environment training.
High school diploma required; associate degree or college coursework in education preferred.
Previous experience working with children in a school, daycare, tutoring, or youth program setting preferred.
