Quality Checker-1st Shift

Quality Inspector
Nesco Resource is hiring a Quality Inspector to join a growing manufacturing team. In this role, you'll inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.
Responsibilities:

Inspect incoming materials, work-in-process, and finished products
Perform visual and dimensional inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and thread gauges
Read blueprints and engineering drawings
Identify and document nonconforming parts
Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation
Verify material identification and traceability
Create Certificates of Conformance (CoCs) for customer shipments
Report quality concerns and assist with corrective actions
Follow all company safety and quality procedures
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality department
Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of manufacturing or quality inspection experience (aerospace experience preferred)
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good math, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• ASQ Certification or Internal Auditor Certification is a plus
