TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in New Lenox, Illinois, 60451!

Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Contract | Night Shift | Onsite
Provide direct nursing care to women during labor and childbirth, monitoring both mother and baby throughout the process
Coach and support mothers and their families through the stages of labor and delivery
Assist physicians during deliveries, including C-sections, and serve in circulator and recovery roles as needed
Perform fetal monitoring and administer IV medications including Magnesium and Pitocin per protocol
Provide post-delivery support including breastfeeding assistance and mother-baby care
Care for low-birth-weight, premature, and mechanically ventilated newborns in a Level 2 Skilled Newborn Nursery setting
Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
Active Illinois RN license at time of submission
Illinois Nurse Agency license must be included in submittal profile (required by the State of Illinois for temporary staffing)
Prior travel nursing experience
Work in a high-volume birthing center averaging 200 births per month, featuring dedicated labor, delivery, and recovery suites as well as private mother-baby suites
Practice in a modern facility with structured patient ratios, including 2:1 during labor and 1:1 for delivery and C-section cases
