HR Generalist / HR Specialist - Japanese-English Bilingual Required Full-time | Irvine, CA
We are a growing company based in Irvine, CA, operating in a specialized manufacturing and distribution industry. We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist / HR Manager to support and manage day-to-day HR operations. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a wide range of HR responsibilities in a small to mid-sized organization.

Manage full-cycle HR operations including onboarding and offboarding processes
Process and manage payroll accurately and in a timely manner
Administer employee benefits (health, dental, vision, etc.)
Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation
Ensure compliance with federal, state (California), and local labor laws
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and HR-related issues
Support performance management and employee relations as needed
Assist with recruiting efforts, including job postings and interview coordination
Communicate and coordinate with internal stakeholders in both English and Japanese
Collaborate with management to improve HR processes and workplace practices

3–5 years of experience in Human Resources

• Japanese-English bilingual (required)
• Hands-on experience with payroll processing (required)
• Strong knowledge of HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, and compliance
• HR certification (e.g., Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance

Someone who can take ownership of HR functions independently
A hands-on professional who is comfortable managing both administrative and strategic HR tasks
Ability to work effectively in a bilingual (Japanese-English) business environment
