Seasonal Tax Preparer (Remote)

Seasonal Tax Preparer
Location: 100% Remote

Pay: $30/hr - $31/hr W2

Hours: Minimum 20 hours per week across three or more days.

Requirements:

Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)

Minimum of 2 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns using commercial tax preparation software.

State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds as applicable (must be able to obtain).Internet connection meeting security criteria.

Responsibilities:

Maintain sensitive customer, confidential, and/or proprietary business information responsibly.

Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to find and deliver accurate answers to customers in everyday language.

Interact with customers and team members professionally via video communication software, documenting interactions to maintain accurate records.
