CUSTODIAN/PORTER
We are excited to invite a passionate and experienced Custodian/Porter to join our team! Homes for the Homeless (HFH) is searching for an experienced Custodian/Porter for our Families w/ Children facility in the Hell's Kitchen area of Manhattan. As the Custodian/Porter, you will play a pivotal role in our organization, ensuring a clean, well-maintained, and safe environment for our families in the facility. ABOUT HOMES FOR THE HOMELESS:
Homes for the Homeless operates shelters for families experiencing homelessness in NYC. Many of these programs are also available to people living in the local community. Vacuum, sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors using brooms, mops or powered machines.
Wash windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
Dust and disinfect furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
Complete unit turnover tasks.
Perform light painting as needed.
Familiar with the proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
