Human Resources Generalist (IMMEDIATE START: TEMP)

Aspen Utility Company, a Quanta Services, Inc. (Aspen is a leader in the telecommunications construction sector. We specialize in aerial and underground construction, Design/Engineering/Permitting, inside plant cabling, small cell tower, and Coax & Fiber splicing.

The HR Generalist is responsible for performing a broad range of human resources functions, including employee relations, compliance, and performance management. This role ensures alignment with company policies and adherence to Texas and federal employment laws while fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.

Employee Relations

Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and workplace issues

Promote a positive work environment and employee engagement initiatives

Compliance & Policy Administration

Ensure compliance with federal, state (Texas), and local employment laws

Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbook, and procedures

Performance Management

Coordinate performance review processes

Track and support training and development initiatives

HR Administration

Prepare HR reports and metrics (turnover, retention, etc.)

Assist with special HR projects as needed

Recruitment & Onboarding

Provide back‑up support for recruiting and onboarding as needed.

Office work environment

May require occasional travel within Texas

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

2-5 years of HR experience in a generalist or similar role

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Bilingual in Spanish preferred
