Are you a driven, dynamic Sales Engineer who is looking for fast-tracked career progression? The Sales Engineer will be responsible for:
Identify, develop and win profitable new business with existing and new customers.
Develop a deep understanding of customer applications, technical problems, platforms and future requirements.
Translate customer needs into future products, technologies and capabilities.
Build and actively manage a focused pipeline of high-value opportunities.
Lead customer-facing new business process from opportunity identification through proposal and award.
Develop strong value propositions and clearly articulate why the solution matters to the customer.
Work closely with Engineering and Operations to develop competitive, executable solutions.
Maintain awareness of market trends, customer strategies, emerging platforms and competitive activity.
The skills/experience required for the Sales Engineer position are:
Degree qualified in Engineering
Demonstrable background in aerospace new business sales
Commercial mindset with knowledge of profitable pricing
Willingness to travel up to 50% across the US to visit customers
Able to articulate highly technical concepts to both technical and non-technical customer contacts
