Production Engineer

Howmet Aerospace has an exciting opportunity for a Production Engineer in our Fullerton, CA location. Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, you will design, build, and validate tooling for cold ‑ stamping stainless ‑ steel (A286) parts, ensuring high ‑ quality production and continuous improvement.

Design, build, and validate tooling for cold ‑ stamping stainless ‑ steel (A286) parts.

Use AutoCAD/SolidWorks to produce tooling drawings, BOMs, and technical specs.

Monitor operations, enforce quality & safety standards, and resolve work ‑ in ‑ process issues.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field).

• 1–3 years of manufacturing/tooling design experience in aerospace, automotive, medical, or related high ‑ volume manufacturing environments.
• SolidWorks (or comparable CAD) proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems (Syteline, Oracle, QAD) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong GD&T, blueprint reading, and inspection skills.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and a track record of measurable improvements.

Needs a high degree of concentration in a busy office environment.

Need to be able to wear safety steel toe shoes and walk around at shop floor environment as needed.
