The Court Interpreter provides accurate and impartial translation services between English and Spanish in support of court proceedings and court-related functions. Responsibilities include interpreting legal proceedings such as first appearances, arraignments, hearings, pretrial conferences, and trials; providing sight translation and written translation of court-related documents; and facilitating meaningful access to the courts for individuals with limited English proficiency. This position serves the Nineteenth Judicial Circuit and requires travel to court facilities throughout the circuit as needed.

Education – Bachelor’s degree in English, the source language, or a closely related field. Experience - Two years of court / legal related work experience. Certification and Special Requirements - Applicants must possess either Certification as a Court Interpreter issued by the Office of the State Courts Administrator (OSCA); Applicants should submit the following materials:
