Buyers Assistant - FullTime

Assists the Buyers with daily operation of the department including data entry, vendor communication, managing item data, and other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Includes adjustments and cancellation of customer orders

Daily item data management

Special Orders (Customer Call-In and Special Sales)

Is regular in attendance and complies with the Company Attendance Policy

Knowledge of grocery store operations.

Skill in operating various office equipment, such as personal computer (familiarity with Excel and Outlook is preferred), calculator, fax, and order units

Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers, and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner

Ability to work with minimal supervision

High School graduate or equivalent

Intermediate Excel skills
