Business Manager - Operations and Portfolio

As the Global Product Manager for Low Voltage Dry Type Transformers, you will have the opportunity to manage the marketing of ABB's offerings to targeted market segments and manage these offerings throughout their lifecycle, in line with market needs and product group line strategy and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting business results by overseeing each step involved in the offer lifecycle including development, launch, go-to-market, maintenance, pricing, and profitability.

For this position, candidates can either work hybrid out of our Cary office, or can be full remote. If remote, candidates should be located near a major metro area.

Drive product strategy by leading market intelligence, identifying portfolio gaps, and defining global roadmaps for Low Voltage Dry Type Transformers.

Translate customer insights into product and portfolio direction through direct engagement with customers, partners, and regional teams.

Lead crossfunctional execution across engineering, operations, supply chain, and sales to prioritize development, manage the offer lifecycle, and deliver profitable market outcomes.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required, preferably Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, MBA preferred

Experience in low-voltage electrical gear and transformer products and markets.

Strong commercial acumen.

Availability to travel 25% (domestic and international) as needed.

Experience working in SAP and Microsoft Office applications including Excel.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $119,000 and $190,400 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus.
