Veterinary Client Service Representative

In this vital role, you will coordinate client interactions, manage appointment scheduling, and support the smooth operation of our veterinary practice; ensuring that pets receive the care they need and their owners feel supported and informed. Your positive attitude and proactive approach will help create a comforting environment for pet owners and their beloved animals as they walk through our doors. You're not just answering phones; you're managing a fast paced flow of patients, coordinating seamlessly with medical staff, and delivering exceptional customer service at every interaction. The ideal candidate is someone who has a positive attitude, enjoys multitasking independently, and is able to work in a time sensitive, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet clients warmly, answer inquiries, and schedule appointments with enthusiasm and professionalism

Manage veterinary software systems to update patient records, process appointments, and handle billing procedures

Communicate effectively with clients about pet care instructions, vaccination schedules, and follow-up appointments

Maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk area, including filing documents and managing veterinary administrative support tasks

Ability to multi-task in a multi-doctor practice

Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with good communications to colleagues on pet care

Qualifications/Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a customer service role (veterinary experience preferred but not required)

Excellent communication skills both via phone and in person; bilingual ability is a plus for serving diverse clients.

Prior experience using multi-line phone systems and handling front desk responsibilities effectively.

Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.

Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain professionalism under pressure.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Compensation:

Base Hourly Rate of $19-25 DOE
