About the Role: HR Generalist

Anderson Health Services is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our HR Department and play a critical role in supporting employees across the full employee lifecycle. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented HR professional who thrives in structured environments, values compliance and consistency, and enjoys being a trusted resource for staff and leadership.

The HR Generalist is responsible for executing core HR operations including onboarding, HRIS administration, personnel records, benefits and leave administration, training compliance, and day-to-day employee support. You will work closely with HR leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure HR processes are efficient, audit-ready, and aligned with regulatory and organizational requirements.

This role is hands-on and operational, with opportunities to help build and strengthen scalable HR systems as Anderson Health Services continues to expand.

Deliver consistent, high-quality HR services across the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a positive employee experience

Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, responding to HR-related questions and issues while escalating complex matters appropriately

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within HR systems, ensuring data integrity and audit readiness

Coordinate and execute onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring all documentation, training, and system access requirements are completed

Maintain and organize digital personnel files in accordance with federal, state, and regulatory requirements

Develop, maintain, and follow HR standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions

Track and document completion of required trainings, certifications, and compliance requirements

Assist with HR reporting, including headcount, turnover, and workforce metrics

Support performance management processes, including reviews, documentation, and timelines

Partner with HR leadership on organization-wide HR initiatives and continuous improvement efforts

Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, documentation, and system workflows to increase consistency and scalability

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

2–4 years of progressive Human Resources experience

Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset

Process-oriented, with an interest in building structure, improving documentation, and standardizing workflows
